Education & Community

Because we are locally owned and operated, we are dedicated to being a big part of our communities. Below are just a few of the efforts in which we participate.

• S.E.E.D. Program - SHOP 'n SAVE has hosted the S.E.E.D. program for over 20 years, bringing assemblies from the Pittsburgh Zoo, Carnegie Science Center and Carnegie Museum of Natural History to children of all ages.
• MDA - Muscular Dystrophy - Each year SHOP 'n SAVE independent owners and operators, customers, vendors and employees team up to raise funds for muscular dystrophy research.
• Vintage Grand Prix - Since 1983, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, sponsored by SHOP 'n SAVE has raised vitally needed funds for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School.
• Boy Scouts of America - Each year SHOP 'n SAVE sponsors a golf tournament benefitting the Westmoreland-Fayette Boy Scouts and donates over 100,000 plastic grocery bags for the Scouting for Food program.
• Box Tops for Education - Brought to you by General Mills and SHOP 'n SAVE this program helps earn cash for local schools. This link launches a new Web browser.
• Labels for Education - Campbell's and SHOP 'n SAVE come together to help schools obtain free educational equipment in exchange for labels from various products. This link launches a new Web browser.
