SHOP 'N SAVE OFFERS FLU AND PNEUMONIA VACCINATIONS TO PROTECT CUSTOMERS FROM SEASONAL SICKNESS
Immunizations Available to Shoppers at Participating Locations

Pittsburgh, Pa.-October 9, 2008- Flu season has arrived, and SHOP 'n SAVE will do its part to protect citizens from seasonal ailments that are often a result of a change in temperature. The grocer will offer flu and pneumonia shots at select locations in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia until the end of November.
To receive a flu or pneumonia immunization at SHOP 'n SAVE you must:

Fit a minimum age requirement (if under 18 years old, see SHOP 'n SAVE Management)
Not be on any antibiotic
Not have an allergy to eggs
Not have an allergy to Thimerosal, Gentamicin or other Aminoglycosides
Not be in the first trimester of pregnancy
Have a physician's written prescription if you are in the second or third trimester of pregnancy
