A SHOP ‘n SAVER, Always.
Pittsburgh Frugal Mom Grilling Story

I consider myself a SHOP 'n SAVER because I know that shopping and saving is exactly what happens each time I shop there! Price Promise items, Essential Everyday, brand name products and Pick 5's make my shopping trips a complete Frugal Deal, but it is not just about the items I can purchase every day at great prices it is about, the weekly specials: the things which help me get a little more in my cart each week to bring home the values and load up the pantry without depleting my budget, that is Shopping and Saving!

GET IT FRESH, FROZEN, WILD & COUNTRY THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

This week's SHOP 'n SAVE ad boasts deals that are Wild, Fresh, Frozen and Country and the grilling deals are all through the store from produce to the meat department!   Are you getting into the Grilling Groove?  I know my kids have had the hankering for hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, steaks and let's face it anything since their appetites are limitless.  I love that the grilling deals are HOT HOT HOT this week! I'm making sure my cart will take home things like the  Essential Everyday Squeeze Mustard and Ketchup because my family uses these condiments like water and the prices are so frugal that I can't afford to not stock up! Let's take a peek and see what else you can SHOP 'n SAVE on!

If I could make everything into a hot dog, my littlest one would be thrilled because in his world Hot Dogs are the king of the food pyramid!  Bar S is $10 for 10 packs, so needless to say these are going in the cart, in my freezer, which makes it a Frozen Frugal Deal! When my little hot dog fanatic requests a hot dog, it's there and it was a great buy!  While I don't love dishing hot dogs up as a meal, I feel a bit less guilty when I mix them with Essential Everyday Frozen Vegetables, and Essential Everyday Whole Wheat Pasta buttered because then it becomes a gourmet $3 meal! Frugal, Fresh, and with Wild savings.

My 'Mikey' is a hamburger boy! When we go out, he does not even look at the menu, it's always a “Bacon Cheese Burger."  When I fire up the grill it’s, "burgers please mom!" and burgers he shall have, but not just any burgers, rather, Farm Fresh Black Angus Beef Patties right from the freezer in a 32 oz. box!  These burgers are a great quick grill throw and the taste sizzles with perfection! I'll add a little bacon and cheese and I will get the Mom of the Year Hug and Kiss after dinner which is what I live for! Let's face it, those hugs and kisses make cooking so worth it, it's like a passport to cook more!
